March 22, 2007 - Question about Iditarod Course

On the North Wapiti mail list, a participant had found a picture of one of the ice carving teams at the Alaska ice carving competition.

 The person asked Karen if there were sections of the actual Iditarod trail that looked like this.

Karen replied:  "Steeper"

The participants then asked how Karen and the dogs managed to go up and down sections pulling a 250lb sled...

Karen is pretty sure that its Dasher at the top reading the newspaper.
