Ok little Poutines, gather round because I have an important announcement to make.

No, no, no, it'll be ok! You have your wonderful mom here to take care of you and keep you safe.
Don't forget that we have a whole staff of Homeland Security that patrol the perimeter and will keep all many of icky things from getting too close to you, plus you have your wonderful handler to feed and play with you.

Yes little Poutines, the Musher is taking her first string Pretty Curly Tails to a race. It's called "
Eagle Cap Extreme" and I have to go along as well because I'm responsible for morale, training, strategy, and matching ensembles... I'm very important in these things...

| More important than us Auntie Bet? |
Oh little Poutines, there's nothing more important than you guys, but I wear many fashionable hats here at the kennels and I have a lot of responsibilities. When you get old enough, you'll get to go on trips and run fun races, and I'll be right there with you to make sure you have everything you need, just like I made sure you'll have everything you'll need while I'm gone.
You have your fun A frame to play in when the snow gets too cold...
You have your snuggly warm house to sleep in at night with Mom.
You have plenty of room to play and sniff and hay to snack on, or whatever, and you can run and play and chase each other. I promise, before you know it, I'll be back!

| When are you leaving Auntie Bet? |
We'll be packing our stuffs and things and leaving early this week (if you count Sundays as being the first of the week) or next week (if you count Sundays as still being last week).

Soon Poutines, I'll be leaving soon, but I'll bring you back some FABulous souvenirs from the trip and we'll even play "wolf and caribou" and I'll even be the caribou for you!

Sniff... I really hate to leave these guys... I hope they don't worry too much.
