The Heart of Life - Bet

Pain throws your heart to the ground

Love turns the whole thing around

No, it won't all go the way it should

But I know the heart of life is good

For Kara

That was beautiful...so sorry to hear of your loss Karen, Mark, Richard, Bet and all the dogs at North Wapiti. The hardest part of being a musher is letting go and I am not looking forward to the day I lose onw of my own. Take Care. Rhonda

That's just sad, looking at the cloud so empty. I hope you are all doing a little better. It's true about time healing the pain but it takes a long time.
Still thinking about all of you & still sad when thinking about Kara.

That is the saddest cloud i've ever seen, makes the tears truly fall like rain. Sweet, sweet Kara, what a hole in everyone's heart is left behind with your leaving. But, I'll bet there was a royal celebration over the Rainbow Bridge.

Bet, you have the wisdom that all dogs seem to have, if only we will listen. We are with all of North Wapiti in this time of mourning. We have all been there, loving creatures who are much shorter lived than we; the grief is a small price to pay for all the years of joy and love.

Wow. An empty cloud. How my heart hurts for all of you. Thinking of you.

But grieve may take place by the proud memories and the knoweing that keeping her there would heve been selfisch.

Bet shows a wise lesson as in life goes on. Our memories are strong ang kara will never be forgotten. But in a groep like that there will come an other that will take place on the cloud. That dog usely is one very close to kara and the spirit of kara will be very close then.

I will miss Kara I rememeber her highness and all her great races and character of such a fine friend. Run like the wind and may you find your fluffy cloud to rest in peace.

The empty cloud broke my heart. I am sure it shattered yours. Peace to all who knew & love Kara.
