I Couldn't Make This Stuff Up If I Tried....

I know ... three blogs in one day. When it rains, it pours, I guess!!! =)

So tomorrow we are hosting some of the members of Northern Alberta Mushers Association (NAMA) for their monthly meeting/Fun Run.

I headed out on my bike this afternoon with Bet in tow to flag a couple loops for everyone - just to make sure they all have a good run without worrying about where they are.

Almost a 1/2 mile from the house I noticed something coming down the trail behind us. What the.....????

Yup....Mark's Stupid Cat aka The Perryvale Puma aka Bait...

Yes, I am aware that 'most people's' cats don't go biking with them. He is not 'most people's' cat. I pointed out there was no basket on the bike and I was certainly not going to carry him home. If he wanted to come along he was going to have to carry his own (very substantial) weight the whole way!

"No problem", said The Puma

Bet pointed out that it was very difficult to act like a big, tough, outdoorsy type dog when your pussy cat was out with us....but .... hmmm.... I did catch this....

 ....and this...

You two are pathetic!!!

After the first 1 1/2 mile loop was in I strongly suggested to Bait that he go home....

....and he reluctantly agreed.

He said something about wanting to do his yoga anyway.

Bet and I were left in peace to put in the next loop.

Wishing 'Happy Trails' to all tomorrow ... and yes, I'll lock up the cat!!!

I'm guessing the dogs won't have any trouble following the trail on that loop! Maybe Bait was looking for a new role at the kennel - as trail marker, instead of trail bait :)
