Holding On For All It Is Worth

Winter continues to hang on tight here.

Not that I'm complaining...

Not even a little bit...

Yesterday I headed over to Lisa's for coffee - via dogteam, of course.

I had planned on staying 2 hours, but after an hour and a half the team got on their feet and made it VERY clear that they were ready to get running.

I'm not complaining...

Not even a little bit...

Good dogs!

BTW - the little black leader in the first 4 photos is Wonder - and the little black leader in the last 3 photos is her little half sister, Beauty!! Both did GREAT!! Especially Beauty.
Both girls were 'backed up' by their superstar half sister, Dasher.

They are doing their Mom, Kara VERY proud!!

Way to go Wonder!

Can't wait to see the snow much deeper (as I am sure you are hoping for soon).

We had winter last week, lots of snow in the mountains, lots of cold on the valley floor. down to 6[F] above at night and low 20's [F] during the day. Our ponds are frozen over, the leaves did not get a chance to turn colors---they're just a freeze-dried grey green. But, yesterday we hit the mid 60's [F], snow's gone, ice on the ponds is melting and last night it rained. Thought we'd just skipped Fall and gone straight to winter. Montana will keep you guessing all of the time.
The snow looks good, the dogs look great, Karen, glad you're hanging on to winter.
