I've shot some video from a two-dog rig...but this is awesome...especially watching the other team pass so tightly, the perfection of the team in motion (no slackers, no tangles), and the (is that Siberian oberdience?!?!?)focus of the dogs at the start and whoa. Nice to see well trained teams in action! (Oh, and the snowscape is pretty wonderful too).

It'd be nice to have a camera rigged on a helmet somehow...you could get various shots that way.

THANKS! That was almost like being there....minus the freezing cold and the bumpy ride! Maybe this year I'll get my one husky up on my little kick sled!

Very nice, esp. the smooth "on by" passing. I liked the start where the left wheel dog's tail was twirling like a helicopter blade. I expected the whole team to take off in the air!

What was the music? Manheim Steamroller?

I like the soundtrack on that too...

Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" has a track (#4)called Frist Snow... it has the rhythm of running dogs. And what better than "Trans-Siberian"...

David Arkenstone has an old album: Music Inspired By Lord of the Rings ("Elbereth Orchestra")...the Riders of Rohan track is exactly running dogs...

Thanks again for sharing. It's great for those of us "mushers" with a couple of dogs and warm winters. Fantastic to see a well trained large team in action.

Maybe Lynne could try a mountain bike or scooter, although I had better luck with two dogs hooked up (one tends to get distracted
...."SQUIRREL!")
