I love coming into Athabasca by dog team. It is the best view of the city there is!!
Athabasca has a rich history of dog teams traveling on this river and I never fail to think about them as I come into the city - even if the Sears store is one of the first things seen now!

I love any view of your Athabasca---but must agree that from the river, in the winter, traveling by dogsled is truly the best.
