Bet's Birthday

On Thursday one of my favorite souls on the whole planet had a birthday. She turned six.
In honour of this auspicious occasion I wanted to share a poem by an author I am very fond of A.A. Milne. 

Now We Are Six

When I was one,
I had just begun.
When I was two,
I was nearly new.
When I was three,
I was hardly me.
When I was four,
I was not much more.
When I was five,
I was just alive.
But now I am six,
I'm as clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six
now and forever.

Yes, Bet - I think you should stay six forever and ever.
