I was up visiting with Jinx the other day checking out how her retirement was going. She is next to her old leading partner, Dasher and young Crampling sisters, Falcon and Ewok.
Jinx indicated that she didn't much care for the puppies, but it was nice to be catching up with the D-Dog.
I asked the puppies if they were learning anything from the veterans and they rolled their eyes.
"We don't listen to them anymore", said Ewok, "They lie".
They lie??? I said.
"Yup", said Falcon "They tell stories about visiting Alaska, running 1000 mile race, crossing mountain passes, and frozen oceans in storms".
Actually girls, those stories are TRUE.
"WHAAAAAAT????"
"They can't be!! What about the finding other teams in storms where their leaders were too scared to lead and getting them through?"
TRUE
"What about seeing wolves and wolverines?"
TRUE
"What about that story of being attacked by a moose?"
TRUE
"And flying on airplanes?"
TRUE
"WOW"
"WOW"
"THANK YOU"
No problem Jinxie!

That is cute Karen. My dog River who passed away in August did not like puppies and my dog Angel who has had puppies really at almost 12 in a month don,t really like them bothering her either. So Jinx you sure are not alone. Angel says to tell you they are a pain in the neck.
Really cute story Karen! I just love reading your blog & haven't had much time to do so lately. Hugs from Sitka & his mon, Lisa in Columbus OH.
Love this! Enjoy your bragging rights, Jinx--you earned them!
